At Chinenye Daycare, we have a passion for early childhood development and education. We are much more than just a daycare. We like to encourage learning through play and ultimately help prepare your children for school. It’s our goal to help create an excellent social and educational foundation to set your children up for future success.
WHAT WE OFFER
Our Programs
Infants
(Birth - 8 months)
At this age, babies are not moving around much independently, so they look, listen and rely on adults to change their scenery. Infants need quality care in order to provide for their basic needs. These basic needs include changing their diapers whenever wet, feeding, napping, and more in addition to the outdoor experience.
Mobile Infants
(8 months - 17 months)
At this stage their language development or skills are growing rapidly, and they can increasingly use their hands to make things happen. At this stage, they can crawl over, under, and through, hold on while walking, balance, hold and manipulate objects.
Toddlers
(18 months - 36 months)
At this stage, they play alone or with one or two other children and sometimes take turns. They are curious, learning more about language, and very active. we provide materials and activities that will be geared towards enhancing this stage of development.
After School
(5 years - 12 years)
We offer a before and after school program and a full day program on non-school days (i.e. PD days, March break, Christmas break and summer months). We pursue interests that allow the children to contribute to the plans for the program. They enjoy a range from quiet to energetic activities. The children have opportunities to engage in computer, math and science skills within projects and group activities, as well as reading, writing and creative activities.

Meet Our Provider
Hello parents. My name is Mrs. Esther Eze, the owner of Chinenye Daycare. I have been working with children for over 26 years. I have been married for twenty five years and have raised our four wonderful biological children. The ability to raise my own four children has made me develop a passion for raising other people’s children. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education. I received my New York State license and started the daycare in 2006.
In addition to New York State licensure, I was recently awarded the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential by the Council for Professional Recognition. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid, Medication Administration, Health & Safety. In addition to those certifications and trainings, I love to enhance my knowledge as the child care provider.
